Established in 2002, the Energy and Security Group is a small professional services company serving U.S. government, industry, finance, and international development agency clients in the U.S. and overseas. We assist clients in addressing critical energy and natural resource issues at the nexus of national and international security interests. ESG focuses on expanding the use of clean energy and environmental technologies and practices to enhance economic performance, promote energy security, improve quality of life, and advance resource sustainability.
The ESG team is experienced in operations research analysis, logistics supply chain modeling, energy and water benchmarking, economic and financial analysis, decision support tool development, policy and program evaluation, and related training and education. ESG publishes materials for both technical and lay audiences and has strong research and writing skills. ESG applies these skills to find versatile, feasible, and practical solutions to national and international problems related to limited natural resources.

Request for Proposal: “Procurement, Installation, and Commissioning of Cyber Security System at PITC”
The purpose of this RFP is to procure the supply, installation, and commissioning of a Cyber Security System for the Power Information Technology Company (PITC) in Pakistan. With cyberattacks becoming more frequent and sophisticated, the Cyber Security System will help PITC maintain a IT infrastructure in order to stay healthy and resilient against cyber threats. This multilayer cyber security platform will be commissioned as part of the work implemented by Energy & Security Group, LLC (ESG) under the Power Sector Improvement Activity (PSIA) Project funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). The PSIA project aims to support and facilitate Pakistan’s transition to a competitive power market, while also improving operations of its transmission and distribution systems. The project will also optimize the use of its electrical grid through increased electrification which warrants a robust, secure, and efficient IT infrastructure. Download the RFP.
