We are excited to share a new article on Medium “Making Power Smarter in Pakistan” that highlights how USAID’s introduction of smart meter technology is helping farmers in Pakistan monitor and control their energy use while modernizing Pakistan’s electricity sector. This work is a direct outcome of USAID’s Power Sector Improvement Activity (PSIA) in Pakistan that helps Pakistani consumers and industries gain a better understanding of how they use electricity through smart meter operations.
